Crescent Bank & Trust to Join Community Financial Insurance Center as Newest Member Bank

MONROE, La. - Community Financial Insurance Center today announced that CB&T Insurance Agency, Inc. of Crescent Bank & Trust in New Orleans is now a Member Bank Agency. Please join us in welcoming CB&T Insurance Agency, Inc. and Crescent Bank & Trust as the newest member of the Community Financial Insurance team. 

Crescent Bank & Trust, a privately owned corporation, was founded in 1991 and has expanded into many states across the country. New Orleans remains the home of the main operations center for Crescent Bank & Trust, in addition to its retail branches. Crescent Bank and Trust exists to provide the non-prime customer a consumer lending product that creates an opportunity to build a positive credit experience. It strives to attain an above average return for their shareholders and to create an environment of advancement and growth for their employees. 

Community Financial Insurance Center, LLC, a Louisiana-based insurance agency, is owned by 44 community banks located throughout the state and is the affiliated agency of the Louisiana Bankers Association.  It was organized upon the concept of pooling funds in order to acquire insurance agencies for the purpose of providing affordable insurance products to their community bank customers.  The first acquisition of Community Financial Insurance Center, LLC, in January 2005 was Troy & Nichols Insurance Agency, Inc. d/b/a Troy & Montgomery Insurance, one of the largest independent insurance agencies in north Louisiana, having a history of over 100 years. Community Financial also acquired Bogan & Formeller, Inc. of Baton Rouge in July 2005 and Fred Morgan Insurance Agency of Rayville in August 2008.
